James Gilligan is a multifaceted instrumentalist and producer.

Known for his mastery of the bass guitar, pedal steel guitar and fiddle, as well as a formidable vocalist; to date, James has performed and recorded with Beth Orton, Sam Amidon, Angus & Julia Stone, Paul Kelly, Emma Donovan, Killing Heidi, Nik Bärtsch’s Ronin and The Teskey Brothers.

Beyond touring & recording as a well regarded accompnist, James currently works as a freelance producer composing new music for artists as well as for his solo project Inlove Online & Tambourine Jesus. James has also composes and produces music for commercial TVC production & video games.
